Veterinary Public Health Section conducts various activities like surveillance of zoonotic diseases of public health significance, meat shop inspection, publication of awareness materials etc. It also conducts laboratory test to address public health issue like detection of Anti-microbial residue in meat and milk product by ELISA procedure, formalin test in fish using Rapid test kit and also conducts surveillance of various zoonotic disease like Brucellosis, Toxoplasmosis and leptospirosis etc by ELISA procedure.
